Best truck stops in West Ireland
West Ireland lies outside the motorways but is still connected via many of the highways.

The Galway Plaza, Galway

- Wi-Fi available
- All DCI fuel cards accepted
The Plaza has been open and busy since 2016. Junction 16 on the M6 Galway to Dublin motorway, some drivers here might find their way to the M6 and M17/18 motorways from the nearby super-junction.
Galway Plaza has a Texaco fuel station. Go a little further down the road and you’ll find the 24/7 HGV parking that has lit parking and video surveillance. It’s a good thing the HGV parking is separate from the regular station. It’s a slight bit of a hassle, but you’re kept separate from the majority of tourists overnight so it’s a positive in our book.
AdBlue is available to buy here from pumps or in canisters if your truck needs a bit of TLC.
